Future of US at stake

Dear editor:

The scariest thing facing the United States today is not the coronavirus. It is the simple fact that the number of millennials in the U.S. today is greater than the number of baby boomers.

These millennials have been indoctrinated by our society, which has wrongly taught them that socialism and communism are good things. Blame our liberal public-school systems and even more liberal colleges and universities that have failed to teach civics, history, and accountability, if you will. These millennials believe that everyone is entitled to the spoils and rewards earned by those who put forth greater effort and take greater risks. Contrast that with the baby boomers whose parents endured the Great Depression and saved the world in World War II who worked extremely hard to create a wonderful nation in which the millennials could live and even prosper, if they so wished.

The future of this great United States is at stake in the year 2024 if the Christian-based baby boomers, who are seasoned and more attuned to history, do not show up at the polls and elect conservative people to represent all of us in the future.

All of us who are either uninformed or misinformed should remain strong and not allow the Pied Pipers (the elected elite) to lead us over the cliffs and destroy our country. If they say it is free, just remember that it really ain't free. Somebody pays. Remember, these people will tell lies just to get elected.
