Next ‘Wonderful Wednesdays!’ focused on brain health

The next installment of the Garland County Cooperative Extension Service's "Wonderful Wednesdays!", which are offered at the Garland County Library on the last Wednesday of each month, will be "How Nutrition Affects Brain Health."

The program will be held from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the library.

"A balanced diet is important for brain health, but some foods have been heavily researched to determine just how beneficial they might be as we age," a news release said.

Upcoming topics include the following:

April 24 -- "Estate Planning for Non-titled Property" with special guest speaker Sara Fendley, attorney with Pinnacle Legacy Law.

May 29 -- "Everything Tortillas."

The programs are presented by the Garland County Cooperative Extension Service and the Garland County Extension Homemakers Council.

"While you are there, learn more about the opportunities for community service, leadership development, lifelong learning and all of the fun that being a member of EHC presents," the release said.
